Vanaras 0.3g Black BB’s
Supplier: Supplied from by RSOV on behalf of Vanaras, super fast shipping (was on the surface mail and came within 7 weeks) with no custom charges. Communication with the shop was fantastic and easy. Packaging: Item came well wrapped; opening the jiffy bag out popped a bubble wrapped parcel which was firmly secured. Opened the bubble wrap (which took a bit of time it was that well wrapped) there were the bb’s in a sealed sturdy bag. First Impressions: My 1st impression of the bb’s were that they looked well made, opened the packet and removed a bb’s it was flawless. No seams were proud, no moulding marks. Dropped onto a hard surface it bounced nicely. Checked a few others and they all looked the same, never found any giraffes in the packet. Rifle test: Tested in my Upgraded Maruzen Type 96. Rifle consists of a tight bore barrel, upgraded piston, spring guide and 450fps spring. These beauties on 1st test with out setting hop correctly or tuning for long range fly dead straight. 5 shots and all were within 1cm of each other (width on the scope not target) at about 35 meters. Only problem was the height was out on each shot but that is due to firing from a 20m elevation to the ground with the hop set wrong. I was even more impressed when the wind blew one the rounds off course and it curved back in to hit the target still. Tested with the hop fully set and on a level elevation. At 25m achieved 2” groupings with slight cross wind with sudden gusts. I found that the ammunition was coping amazingly and they are so hard to see in flight, Consistency testing: I’ve tested a random sample of Vanaras .30g black bb's random batch from RSOV, random 70 bb's from packet (bought only in January) here are the results 5.90mm 5.90mm 5.90mm 5.90mm 5.91mm 5.89mm 5.90mm 5.88mm 5.92mm 5.92mm 5.90mm 5.89mm 5.91mm 5.89mm 5.88mm 5.89mm 5.90mm 5.89mm 5.90mm 5.90mm 5.91mm 5.90mm 5.89mm 5.89mm 5.89mm 5.90mm 5.89mm 5.91mm 5.90mm 5.89mm 5.90mm 5.91mm 5.87mm 5.88mm 5.90mm 5.90mm 5.90mm 5.92mm 5.90mm 5.90mm 5.89mm 5.89mm 5.89mm 5.88mm 5.89mm 5.88mm 5.90mm 5.89mm 5.90mm 5.90mm 5.90mm 5.91mm 5.89mm 5.88mm 5.91mm 5.90mm 5.90mm 5.90mm 5.90mm 5.90mm 5.91mm 5.89mm 5.91mm 5.92mm 5.92mm 5.88mm 5.91mm 5.90mm 5.90mm 5.89mm Range is from 5.87mm to 5.92 which is a variance of 0.05mm so the bb's are 5.90 +/- 0.02mm 1 bb was rejected as i forgot to zero the callipers again and only one 5.97mm came up so that could been the same again with forgetting to zero the callipers There were no flaws in the pack of 2500 rounds, they are all smooth and with no pitting and no proud seem lines I then did a weight test of another random batch with the results as follows I used a grain scales but they kept fluctuating on grain dues to not having a flat surface so I put 100 bb's on that were dry and not humid from being handled. I got 31.15g so that’s an average of 0.3115g per bb. Conclusion: Great BB’s, the black impressed me as in sunlight you can see these enough to set the hop up and zero the scope but the enemy struggle to see them coming which is perfect for stealth, I found that from skirmishing these they are some of the better quality bb’s for sniping with, CYMA .3g’s are rubbish, Excel are good but I feel Vanaras bb’s are up in the top of the ones I’ve tested especially with the consistency in the diameter of the bb’s. Rating: Quality 10/10 Accuracy 9/10 Price 9/10 Consistency 9/10

Quote:
check it out 6mm bb's aint 6mm maruzen sgm (which supposed to be the best) are between 5.90 and 5.95mm if they were 6mm exact they would jam. take a 6.01 barrel and a bb of 6.00 mm thats .01 clearence, so thats .005 mm clearence each side the bb = jam take a 6.03 barrel and a bb of 6.00mm that .03 clearence, so thats .015mm clearence each side of the bb = jam so run the same barrels with a 5.90 - 5.95mm bb 6.01 - 5.95 = .06 thats .03 either side = ok due to being enough space for friction to not hold the bb back. 6.03 - 5.95 = .09 thats .045 either side which is plenty enough Richard
